Statue alone on the docks
A weathered stone disparity
Drawing laboured breathes of air
Laden with familiarity
A world weary navigator
Staring in distant rapture
Searching the far horizon to
Be lost in a moments capture
In solitary reflection
The clouds of time passing
Through the winter of age will
Never change that glorified spring
A forever ago, but never forgotton
A story woven in lace of gold
Constricted this lonley heart
Evoking memories of a legend untold
Something no storm can destroy
No reef could ever wreck
Destined to eternally follow
The captain around the deck
Caressed with ships rocking
Revelling in the gentl
The snow encrusted pine trees
Swaying with the breeze
The invigorating winter chill
Air silently still
In another day's dying light
The ice glistens bright
Waiting for the calm of night
It happens again
Mumbling, grumbling, rumbling
Till it becomes a roar
The brittle ice has no defence
For what the earths blight has in store
Flakes disturbed wander round
Til the peaceful ground
Fearful marmots emerge and stare
Into the settling air
Life in abundance reappears
Forest home allays their fears
Under it's wisdoms command
The trees eternally stand
Cultivating the life of the land
Flying faster all the time
Oblivious to simple
My heart has no boundary
Feels no moral quandary
My mind infinitely wary
Though we are just friends
My heart is full of yearning
Ignorant to learning
With difficulty discerning
Where love begins and ends
Falling into lonlieness
Worn away from weariness
Pining rekindled happiness
Calling to be free
In thoughts of you I'm drifting
And now my spirit's lifting
Towards you my mind is shifting
Lost in sunshine reverie
There lies a smoky hollow
In a mist-enshrouded glade
Where lost, forgotten sorrows
And broken dreams are laid
To rest beneath the thicket
That time grows by the day
Feel free to wave and smile
At moments passing way
For your first and final partings
Will have no heartfelt goodbyes
As the wizened trees and branches
Will soon engulf the skies
Deep within therebe a cottage
A dwelling of the past
It's walls are old and crumbling
It's life is dying fast
Yet you persist to dwell there
Where it is safe and warm
Because you lack the courage
To brave the raging storm
Perhaps while you are watching
Your ancient memories pass
You'l
I once lived here
In this derelict place
It was once beautiful here
Full of noblility, regality and grace
There was once peace here
We were safe and secure
In our own Utopia
Our lives heavenly and pure
Then she came here
The true nature of the world
Revealed, the fear, the cruelty
The horrors unfurled
Now I wander here
Those days are long gone
The streets green and grassy
The buildings old and worn
There is a secret here
Buried deep in the ground
Friends and enemies joined together
Waiting to be found
They called me here
Now bonded in Unity
To pass on their message
To make peace for eternity
Their call rang clear here
Sing me a flowing river
Of Nature's elaborate weaves
Your angelic tones quiver
Sending a glorious shiver
Through the tranquil forest's leaves
Making magic, enchanting
While the world's in silent rapture
Taking hold of everything
In frozen silence you sing
And my heart you capture
Your song is laced with sadness
And you sing words of despair
Revealing black storm of madness
Open your heavens to kindness
See in your cruel grief we share
Let not loneliness be your torment
Together a soul we mourn
And the clouds will relent
So you end your sweet lament
And behold the breaking dawn
The world lights up when you see them
They are the only thing that you live for
You are lost in a world
Where the only thing you see
Is the stars in their eyes
The only thing you can smell
Is the sweet scent of their hair
The only thing you hear
Is the amazing music of their voice
When even the slightest of touches
Burns your skin for hours
Their smile make you want to
Fly to the moon
When you literally have to jump
Because you are so happy
You live and breathe them
You hang on to every word they say
Your insides churn when they come near
Yet you keep going closer
Because they make your world

Something to do with Belonging
I couldn't breathe. I saw myself running desperately around the house, not knowing what to do. I could hear my mother's screams from the bedroom as I ran back and forth, racking my brain for something anything that I could do to help. I ended up finding nothing and standing rigidly in the doorway, my mind blank. I watched my mother, bent naked over my father, pump the heels of her palms into his chest repeatedly as he lay motionless on the carpet. Every so often she would plug his nose and blow hard into his mouth, between frantic pleas for assistance to triple zero, and Dad would let out a low, uncontrolled, bestial groan, but

Do you ever experience those moments where you are so overwhelmed by the beauty and simplicity of the world that u can do nothing but stand and stare. wondering why on earth u should care about trivialities like exams when there is something like this. You realise everything and everyone in the world special and you are grateful for nothing more than being alive at this very moment. And you see the true value of just living on this earth.
the oysters thingy looked a bit silly so im changing it.
has anyone else noticed that there always seems to be more comments realating to the artists comment rather than the work itself, especially poems. seeing as its the artwork is where u put the effort in it seems a bit strange that that little blah blah blah draws more interest
The oysters at the low tide mark get their problems washed away constantly away with the waves while the high tide oysters must deal with their problems until the high tide comes, but when it does they are all the more satisfying for perservering and they can watch as the low tide oysters a swallowed by despair
